First try simply restarting your device, and/or turning iCloud off then on again in Settings.

I think I did that, but I'll try again. I know I was getting them before I updated. Since I did that somehow I was assigned to a icloud.com email
A few months back, everyone with an name@me.com address was given the associated name@icloud.com address. All mail sent to both addresses comes into the same mailbox. It is not an additional email account, just an additional address for the same account.
