It says accessory will use too much power.......what do I do?

I have bought the lightning to USB camera adapter for my new iPad but it is saying the accessory uses too much power? What do I do? Please help

connect a powered usb hub to the adaptors usb connector and then connect the camera to that

Is the adapter an Apple product or 3rd party?

Try this first - Reset the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.
