I can't connect JBL Flip with ipod touch 4th generation

Also, try resetting the JBL Flip. Sometimes you have to reset the device when you change which device it is paired with. The JBL manual should say how to reset it.

What a terrible manual. I would go to JBL's support site or contact them. The manual does even say which BT profiles are supported by the Flip. The iPod does not support all the BT profiles supported by your computer. See:

i just opened the flip and paired with one ipad and subsequently wanted to pair with my ipad. my ipad kept searching and searching and could not find the jbl flip even though it was right next to it. i had the same problem as the original post. I think the following is what ultmately solved the problem. first i turned off the blue tooth on the first ipad (not sure if this mattered) so the flip wouldn't be connected to it. i could not find a reset nor how to take the batteries out simply on the flip. . I DID though hold the power button for quite a while on the flip. I did this long enough for the red light (vs the blue light of the flip) to flash. once flashing red i turned back on blue tooth on my ipad and it discovered the flip. i touched the ipad screen to select the flip and then discovered the flip.

Thanks for posting. I had to reset the JBL Flip as well, and the instruction manual was worthless.

This solution helped me pair my original ipad with my JBL Flip also. Holding the Flip's power switch until it flashed both blue and red was the key. It took a couple of tries to get the two to pair and connect.

Sweet! I was ready to return this thing. The holding down the power button works. I was loving the sound and hoping that I could pair with all my devices. Thanks again ReidWeb.

I phone can remember 2 devices only so just go to bluetooth options and delete the paired devices , then it will connect . This will solve ur prob.
