Hi Stefan,
Couple of things to try...
Have you done a PRAM reset, CMD+Option+p+r...
http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1379
In fact, do 3 in a row, takes a bit of time.
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
Reboot.
Hi thanks ..
did all that procedure - no success :-(
any other idea ?
Thanks & Danke,
stefan
See what version is really installed...

Should be...
Mac mini (Late 2012) | Macmini6,1 |

as you can see - it should be all ok and efi is MM61.0106.B00 which is correct and can be upgraded.
but still no chnage, update applied successfully, after reboot it pops up again, and the soundcard disappeared.
Hmmm, yes it should work, just wondering, did you try it directly, or just SWUpdate?
yepp, tried both ways, result is the same
Have we done this yet?
Bootup holding CMD+r, or the Option/alt key to boot from the Restore partition & use Disk Utility from there to Repair the Disk, then Repair Permissions.
Reboot.
Hi :-(
again did that procedure.
repaired some perms on /usr/lib/...
Result is still the same, efi remains unchanged.
Boot-ROM-Version: | MM61.0106.B00 |
is this the point to contact apple support by phone ?
thanks so far for your help :-)
Stefan
Yep, I think only Apple can help now, call them or maybe...
Try Apple's Express Lane...
