iPod syncing issue.

My iPod touch 5th gen refuses to sync to any program. iTunes freezes when I try using that. I downloaded a 3rd party program called copytrans. Copytrans worked fine until recently. Not sure what I should do. Has anyone else experienced this issue?

Also I can transfer a few songs off via copytrans. But only under a 100 at a time. So I'm really not sure why it won't let me add anything.
