Remote access of MBP with clamshell closed

Periodically, I use LogMeIn to access a MBP that I have at home.


I would like to keep the MBP clamshell closed but would still like to be able to access it.


Is this possible?

As far as I know, no. You must close it and the reawaken it, and even then, it typically won't work unless it is connected to a keyboard and monitor. Apple tech note:
