This is the Free Plugin & Loops Thread from GB2. Since many people are now using GB3 I thought perhaps it would get more viewing here.

From now on I'll just keep adding to this thread when I come upon new stuff here in GB3.

Merger.
Merger is a utility plug-in that combines two audio channels into one. This is typically useful for e.g. vocoder plug-ins that expect their two inputs on either side of a stereo pair.

In Logic 7 it is used as an insert effect on a mono or stereo track. The other input is selected from the 'side chain' menu.

Anyone who gets this to work with a VOCODER let us know. I havent gotten around to testing it yet.

Not exactly sure what this does since I'm not a MIDI guy. All I ever do is hook up my 49e and access synths.

Here's a description from the site:

MIDI out support for GarageBand


MidiO is a small Audio Unit that generates MIDI out from GarageBand. In its current form, it is not intended to be a general purpose, full functionality MIDI interface. What it does provide is an internal MIDI out port to which other MIDI enabled programs can connect to. The MIDI data in the software instrument track for which midiO is chosen as a generator will be sent in sync with the playhead to the MIDI out port named "midiO".

The only reason I'm posting this is to see if it can be controlled by GB in some way? Anyone know a way? It would solve the proble of just having two effect slots thats for sure.
