Hi all,

My boss has an iPhone 4s which has his Exchange contacts synced in it. We are permantely shutting down our Exchange server.

Will his contacts stay in his phone after the server has been taken down or is there something I can do to upload them permanently to his phone?

No. The contacts are owned by the server.

Set up personal folders in Outlook on his machine if they do not already exist. Copy all of his contacts from his current personal address book to the address book in his personal folders. If he is syncing his phone with that computer now, set it up to sync the contacts with Outlook. If he is not, export the contacts and have him import them to the address book on the computer he syncs with and set his phone up to sync contacts with that.

We are shutting down our Exchange server.
