How to uninstall programs on Macbook Air

Hi, I have a Macbook Air and I downloaded a program on the internet. But I do not know how to uninstall it.

Uninstalling applications



If the application has an uninstaller use that.


If not... drag it to trash and Empty the Trash

In an attempt to prevent unwary users from doing permanent damage to essential system files necessitating lengthy recovery steps they are locked (prevented) from simple deletion.



Often when an Application acts strangely it is a corrupt .plist (preference) file. Sometimes deleting those files will cure strange behavior.


Other times hanging at launch may mean part of the Application or Installed support files are missing or corrupt.


Try a reinstall first.
