Help with homesharing

My family has 4 iPhones and 2 iPads. Can we all have separate iTunes accounts and still share music and apps? Using the same user id means all info on the cloud syncs to all phones. Thanks.

All media and apps are tied to the Apple ID that downloaded them.

If you want the massive headache of keeping track of multiple passwords and what ID was used to download what-go ahead and share stuff across devices.

If you mean can you share purchased music and apps and use separate Apple ID's for purchases - no you cannot do that.

You can share one Apple ID for purchases in iTunes and the App Store and setup individual Apple ID's for FaceTime, Messages and iCloud accounts.
