stolen ipod

My daughter's ipod was stolen from a bathroom at providence place mall today. She received this as a Christmas gift. I contacted Apple to see what they could do and they bascially said there is nothing they can do. How can this be , i have the serial number and the find my ipod on the device.I am so fursated. This was herChristmas gift. Grr! Any ideas??

Yes. It is too much to ask for.


No manufacturer does this. It would casue many headaches for many people. You could get amd at your spouse and have their ipod rendered useless. You couls sell it to someone then have it rendered useless.


This is not something that is done.


Very sorry about th theft, but Apple is not the culprit.
