Q: iphone call not connecting to voicemail, just a beep

When someone calls my iphone 4s, when the voicemail is supose to pick up it just beeps. then stops. The call dosent disconnect, or record a voicemail. it just sits there.

iPhone 4, iOS 6.0.1

    Talk to your carrier. It sounds like it's a problem with them, since the call is picked up. Voicemail isn't on the phone, its a service by your carrier. So if its connecting (which is the beep) but not functioning properly (not being able to leave a voicemail) then something hinky might be going on with the network.
