Distorted video or no video issues

I faced this problem last month with my Macbook Pro 15.4" serial# W8******YJY. I took it to apple service center last month and they fixed this problem somehow. By that time i didnt know about the "NVIDIA GeForce 8600M GT graphics processor repair extension program" which ened on December 7, 2012. I found this info after having this graphic problem again. The tech is still unsupportive. what to do?

If you have a dated receipt from your previous repair, you could try to gain the ear of a sympathetic manager at your local Apple Store. Show them your papers that let them know that the machine was taken in for problems before the expiry date of the program.


They may replace the logic board for you - but it will be at their discretion: if you get a 'no', I would just take the matter up the food chain.
