face time and siri

can anybody help me with the use of these 2 functions on the ipad mini (wifi only) - i can't find siri and facetime doesn't appear to call it only provides the option to message - many thanks

Siri can be enabled via Settings > General > Siri, and you then access it by pressing and holding the home button : about Siri.


For FaceTime you should have a FaceTime app (it's icon looks like a camera) - is that what you are using ? If you can't find the app then is it hidden by Settings > General > Restrictions > FaceTime being set 'off' (the app isn't available on iPads sold in the UAE, Saudi Arabia and possibly a few other countries) ?
