NO icon for movies so cannot access films...tried everything but still same.
MUst be Apple problem.....oh we'll good for Virginmedia...their movies work ok

Is this just the movie icon or others as well. There appears to be an issue with movie or TV shows at present, but if other icons are missing you may have a different issue.
Same problem in Finland. Bought the Apple TV today, worked well until I updated to the latest version of software. Then the Movie icon disappeared. Netflix and others work fine.
Im in Germany and I dont have a movie icon either... Is this an applewide problem??😮

same in Switzerland... tried to rent on my laptop, but cannot stream it to my tv???
Apple TV need Total update. if you are using a 2010-2011 version apple tv, you need to RESTORE it to factory settings, inorder to Restore ALL icons back into homepage. after you done this process, you can use the apple Tv remote to customize it. press and HOLD the select button and the icons all starting to jiggle. move icons whereever you like.
My movie icon came back and i did literally nothing, was just flipping around the different screens to see if anything else had changed. Apple appears to be having some system issues. APPLE SYSADMIN PLEASE make a comment and let your users know what is going on!!
