i just got an ipad mini...and i can't find my icloud...any help?
Did you look in Settings > iCloud?
You need an iCloud account first - http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/.
Then, on the iPad, tap "settings / iCloud", and sign in with your iCloud Apple ID and password.
I did..i have itunes open on my pc, and i can't even revert to backup to itunes to set up my ipad...nothing seems to be recognizing each other?
But did you find iCloud in Settings? If not, open Settings > General > Reset > Erase All Content and Settings, and set up the iPad again
if i do that, won't i loose all of my previous icloud data? that is what i'm trying to get on my ipad, is the data i have in my icloud, that is what is missing.
You won't lose anything from your iCloud, but you'll lose all the data on the device
the device (ipad mini) is brand new, no data on the device. shouldn't the new ipad mini recognize the i cloud upon set up? that's where i am confused
The device must ask you to use iCloud the first time you turn it on, and that's strange that you couldn't do it. Open Settings > General > About, and see Version. What iOS version has it got? iOS 6.0.2 is the most recent
