majido,

The wireless capable printers that I'm familiar with can be set up to work specificaly with either wireless OR wired connection --not with both at the same time. For example, my Canon printer software offers three options, ethernet/usb/wireless. I'm using wireless, but if I want to go to a wired ethernet connection, I need to go through the printer driver software and reconfigure the printer. Perhaps your printer works in a similar manner?
