has anyone had problems restarting their computer once updating to itunes 11

having a problem starting my computer ever since installing itunes 11. Had to do a system restore to a date prior to the itunes update. Once i did this, i could not access my itunes library and had to download and reinstall itunes. After doing that my computer will not restart again... Anyone else having this issue?
