Vonage frustrations

Hello,

Can anyone help me hook up my Motorola VT1005V to my Mac mini's ethernet port? I've hooked it up, turned off the firewall, and all it does is blink twice. Help!

P.S. I know this is more of a Vonage support issue but I can't find any info on how to do this on their website so I thought I'd try here. Maybe one of you has had this problem?

Phone adaptors are normally connected to your router. You then access them through your web browser by using the phone adapters IP address.

Can you describe your full network setup?

My network setup is:

Neighbor's unprotected WiFi network --> Mac mini --> hoping to hang Vonage box off of Mac mini's Ethernet port.

As you can see, I can't get my phone adapter directly connected to the router. I need to use the Mac as a bridge.

Help!

OK try connecting the ethernet cable between your ibook and a LAN port on the phone adaptor.

Then turn on internet sharing.

System Prefernces-->Sharing-->Internet

Share from your airport to computers using built-in ethernet.
