We upgraded my daughters ipod to the newest verion...iPod 5? We are no longer able to download instagram. We have even tried to ask Siri to download it from the app store and she say's she cant do that. lol
So, what is the problem?

Have you tried downloading it the old fashioned way, going to the App store and searching for it and then installing it.
Yes. I have the iphone 4. It downloads and works fine on my phone. My daughter's last ipod had no problem. I am starting to wonder if Apple has a block on instagram for the newest devices?
Just what happens when you try to install it on the iPod?
So, I go to the app store and search for instagram. I can locate the app but when i try to click the "install" button, it just doesnt do anything.
I deleted it from my ihpone and was able to reinstall it with no problems....it's only the ipod.

Do you have any Restriction set that would prevent install the app?
Settings>General>Restrictions
Have you tried syncing the app from your iTunes library?
I dont think I I have any restrictions...I will have to check....no restrictions.
I can't seem to figure out how to find and download apps from my computer or itune account other than on the ipod itself.
