it keeps saying charging is not supporte by this accessory

How are you trying to charge it? Are you connecting it to a computer? If so, what kind of computer? Are you using the cable that came with the iPod??
Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Inspect the dock connector for bend or missing contacts, corroded contacts, broken, missing or cracked plastic.
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
- Restore from backup. See:
- Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
- Make an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store.
my ipad air 2 do the same i got this ipad for about 2 months and i got ios 9 is up to date and i make factory reset and my cable is new cos i plug in my iphone 6s and its charging soo evry time wen i plug my ipad say Charging is not suppored with his accsessory .
