Issue: The system will freeze and re-start randomly once a week to a month, depending on iTunes usage.
I'm fairly certain this is due to iTunes, because when I'm not playing music using the program, this issue never happens. The issue came around with one of the iTunes updates. My entire library is MP3's of CD's i've burned and are on my hard drive, not songs bought through the iTunes store. So it's not a rights issue. I don't play any movies. The issue never seems to happen while activly using itunes, but rather when listening to my library or a playlist in the background while at work. The issue happens when my iPod Nano is connected AND not connected to my PC. My system does not crash when iTunes is not playing.
iTunes version 11.0.1.
Windows XP Pro SP3
It's possible this issue was fixed with the most recent update, but I'm doubtful as I've updated iTunes twice before and the issue still happens.
And ideas?
