Q: Aperture filter HUD missing
Using 3.4.2. The filter HUD is missing. When I click CMD + F it puts my cursor in the search field but I can't bring up the HUD.
I just installed a bunch of Aperture presets, but I doubt that is the issue.
Any ideas or suggestions???

A good rule of thumb when the UI acts up is to try and delete the Aperture preference file.
See Aperture 3: Troubleshooting Basics under Delete the User Preferences about 2/3's down the page. You can move the preference file to the desktop so that if this doesn't fix the problem you can move it back.
Do this while Aperture is not running.
