If still problem, Restore the iPhone with current iTunes on computer. See if better. If not, make Genius reservation or set up Service and take or send to Apple for resolution under Warranty.

Dec 27, 2012 2:45 PM in response to Gills18by Leederr,I have the same issue on iPhone 5 purchased yesterday. Tried the same resolutions and no joy. Sounds like a problem with the phone's ability to receive the wifi signal. All my other Apple devices have no problems picking up my wifi signal at greater distances (iPad, Macbook Pro, iMac, iPod). I'm a hundred miles from an Apple store. I'm going to try going back to Verizon store and see what kind of luck I'll have there. I can't afford to go without a cell phone for any length of time and don't absolutely need wifi, but, darn it, the phone should work right.
