How can I burn a DVD on a Macbook Air?

I've already created and saved my project using iMovie but now I need to move it to the desktop that has the DVD burn drive. Any suggestions how to do this?

Also, my macbook air is running iMovie 11 while my desktop still has iMovie 9. Should I update iMovie first or will this not cause a problem?

iMovie > Share > Export Movie.. in your preferred size.

Once that has been done, move it to you other computer and import it into iDVD.

It doesn't matter about the iMovie versions - you will not be using iMovie on your other computer, only iDVD which will work with any version.

Thank you very much. I was missing the import step. Although doing this instead of adding it through the media button on the screen gives me an error message because my "drop zone" is empty but that's no big deal since it still lets me burn my DVD. Does any one know if I can just get rid of the drop zones all together?
