Daughters given me her ipod touch as she bought an iphone and i want to add new music to the ipod but i have a separate itnues account. How do i do this? and how do i alter settings so it does not effect her itunes ac? i seem to have her contacts on ipod?

Go to the above if you want a standard factory reset That wipes the entire iPod out is if you just received you can start there from scratch. I don't believe that this will affect your daughters pictures however I do recommend always keeping a back up on hand.
Ask her if her photos are on her new iPhone. If not, check to see if they are in Photostream in the photos app. If not, you can always copy the photos off of the iPod through Windows Explorer (if you have a windows pc). I don't know about the mac.
