Help. My ipad 2 iOS 6.0.1 has stopped displaying on my tv screen using my apple av adaptor. I had started watching a movie rented from iTunes. Initial message said display not authorised but I tried again and it started playing. After a couple of minutes it stopped and now the tv won't display anything at all, not even my photos. TV screen doesn't recognise a connection. I tried using my boyfriends ipad 2 iOS 6.0.1 and this displays fine and plays his purchased movies. We have exactly the same settings.

I'm wondering if continuing to play the rented movie that initially said it was not authorised somehow disabled the tv display capability on my ipad?
