Jan 11, 2015 6:44 AM in response to djanderzby Kafe,Well, had this issue in 2013, replaced logic board for $750. It took 3 months in Russia.
And today I have the same issue again.
Feeling that Apple cheated on me, by selling hardware they know has issues.
P.S. Tried to disable ATI kexts, but graphics become low quality and gfxcardstatus show that discrete card is in use.

Jan 30, 2015 1:41 AM in response to djanderzby nanin wardhani,I have same problem here. MBP 15" early 2011 model. Tried to fixed it on a 3rd party but failed. If I bring it to apple they will replace the logic board but it costs very expensive. Does the lawsuit only apply to US customer? I hope if apple take action on this issue, they will cover all mbp 2011 consumer around the world

Jan 31, 2015 9:22 AM in response to Marco PIENby Kafe,Welcome to our club.
Well, it's no that bad in your case. You can forget about Windows, but still can use OS X if you will remove AMD drivers from console.

Jan 31, 2015 9:29 AM in response to Kafeby Marco PIEN,I was not able to boot up with OS X so I tried bootcamp instead. I need to go through the discussion to figure out how to remove the AMD driver.

Feb 20, 2015 1:08 PM in response to djanderzby MuddyMic,Do you know if Apple changed the "repair" method with its new program?
Are they still changing the logic boards the same way as before or do they do sth. else?
A reply from anyone who knows what they're talking about is greatly appreciated!!
Good luck folks!

May 7, 2015 11:18 PM in response to djanderzby David@PostLaserDisc,I had an email sent to me by Apple for warranty extension program (March 2015) and I'd took my MBP17" to Apple Care to have it repaired.
When it came back from repair, I now have a vertical red line on the left hand side of the screen.
Has anyone encountered this? Apple Care says it's not covered by warranty now.

Jul 9, 2015 8:33 PM in response to David@PostLaserDiscby SaMiChi,Just have them take it back. Not sure about the recall, but usually after a repair, you have a 90 day warranty. If that red line isn't covered, that's messed up
