My iphone can't find airprint on Epson Workforce 545

I have a new Epson Workforce 545 that my iphone cannot find to airprint. Wifi is enabled; I am able to print from my MacBook Pro wirelessly. The iphone and ipad are not able to detect the printer. The app Espon iPrint will bring up the printer from my phone. I enabled airprint there. Still no luck. Why won't my phone access the printer through airprint?
