Is iMessage down?? 29.12.12

My iMessage has been down since the 27th of Dec, 2012. I just turned it off and when I tried turning it back on, it said my password was incorrect. So I reset it, but it's still saying the same thing please help!

iPad (3rd gen) Wi-Fi, iOS 6.0.1
