Are you using the nike sensor?
I am having this same problem. I don't own a seperate nike sensor but I was told you don't have to with the latest ipod nano because the Nike+ support and pedometer are built into the ipod.
If you have enabled the nike + sensor, the one that requires sensor and/or adapter, try to disable it. You do not need an adapter or sensor to use run/walk workout. Yes, ipod nano 7th gen has a built in pedometer. Cheers!
No because they said it is built in but unable to enable it. Do you know how?
Exactly.. Have been into the istore shop and thats what they said. Am trying to get info from Apple and will
let you know if I found a way round it.
There is an option in ipod nano 7th gen to use a nike + sensor by enabling it. If disabled, ipod nano will use its own pedometer. Cheers!
Open fitness app and then tap in 'i' at the bottom right corner. Tap on Nike+iPod Sport kit and make sure sensor is off. If it is ON then it searches for a sensor when starting a workout. If it is OFF then it uses built in accelerometer to perform workouts.
Hope this helps!
