Actually it does connect i see on itunes that it tries to connect but after few minutes it tells me cant activate and to try later or reach customer servcie. I have tried on 2 pc and i have itunes 11 on both. I also restore from server and it rstores only does not let me activate

Was it jailbroken or unlocked by someone other than the carrier it was originally locked to?
Well I am guessing this phone was jailbroken for unlock prior to the upgrade. The phone is not mine so i am guessing for it did work with the sim card from here. Now I did purchase for this phone to be factory unlocked. Funny thing is it doesnt open with original sim either ATT

You can't get help here. Try Google. You may find yourself having to buy a new phone.
