Frozen event window

Somehow a lot of data from my clipboard got put on an event window. Now that event window is frozen and I can't get rid of it - even if I force quit calendar app or restart my computer. Every time I open calendar, that event window is frozen on top of the calendar. Any ideas for help?

Also - there is a message that reads "Your calendar could not be refreshed."

Pemaquid2,

1. Go to your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Calendars Folder and move any any files with "Cache" listed in the name field to your Desktop. To find the correct Library folder, go to the Finder menu and select "Go," while holding the "Go" menu depress the "option" key to reveal the correct Library folder.

2. Next go to your Macintosh HD/Users/yourusername/Library/Preferences Folder and move the com.apple.iCal.plist file to the Desktop. To find the correct Library folder, go to the Finder menu and select "Go," while holding the "Go" menu depress the "option" key to reveal the correct Library folder.

3. Log out/in or restart, and open iCal.
