Each Section can have its own Header and Footer. They can be different also for the first page of the section and left and right pages in Facing Pages.
You can insert dates, File names etc. as well as the Page Number and Page Count.
None of those need a table, I can't see what purpose the table serves.

No need for a table in the Footer in Pages:
Left tab stops at 3 and 5 inches, Right tab stop at 7 3/8 inches.
