I have 4 email accounts set up on my ipad and I can receive and reply to all four, but I can't create a new email from any of them.

I had that problem, what I did was delete all the accounts and re add them and then it worked for me , try it it might now work but its worth a try

Unfortunately I've already done this and it didn't work. I had the same problem setting up multiple accounts on my husbands and I deleted them and started over and it worked fine.
