Q: Cannot buy photobook in Aperture: Unavailable images detected in book.

I have created my photobook and every thing seems in order, it previews perfectly. When I go to buy the book, I get the following error:

Unavailable images detected in book

One or more of the images in your book are not presently available at full resolution. Please reconnect to these files by mounting the volume(s) containing the original images.

I know the the problem is not the resolution of the images. The problems seems to be that Aperture cannot find the folder with the images. This particular folder is not a part of the aperture library. Is this the problem? Is that what it means by "reconnecting" these files?

Aperture 3, Mac OS X (10.7.5)

None of the images are RAW and most of the other photos in the book come fromthe same folder. Thank you for all of your ideas.

Can you try a new, simple, book using the same images? I am wondering if the current book's links are getting reset by the reconnect?

I would try removing that problematic photo from the original book, and then add it back. I think that the reconnected link is not being recognized in the book as prepared prior to reconnecting.

But if you are right, the implemetation of reconnecting is rather buggy

I tried deleting and then re-adding the photo...did not correct the problem. I also tried deleting the re-adding the entire page and that did not work.

It is pretty certain that somehow the existing book has a link problem that a new book does not. I have not yet thought of any reason for this to happen now that reconnection has been done. Thinking, . . .
