Can I upgrade from OS X 10.5 to 10.6?

Hi I am having trouble uploading itunes latest version as it says I need Mac OS x 10.6.8 but I only have 10.5.8 - What do I need to do? Many thanks

You will need to purchase the disk from the Apple Store.

Just to be sure you do not spend money for unusable product ...

AppleMenu > AboutThis Mac ... verify you have an Intel processor and at least 1 GB RAM, though more than 1 GB is better for SL.
