Nano having trouble with Album Art
We both have iPod Nanos, and are having trouble with them displaying album art. Some art displays, but a lot of it doesn't. All the songs downloaded from iTunes are fine, and a handful of music I've manually attached art to are fine. I'll try to run off as many of the possible causes as I can, to help narrow it down.
- The iPod's software is up to date.
- My copy of iTunes is up to date.
- I've got the 'Display album art' option checked in iPod options.
- All my songs have album art attached under the artwork option in the 'Get File Info' menu.
- All the artwork is in .JPG or .GIF format, and is 300x300 pixels or less.
- All the artwork displays fine in iTunes.
- I also have lyrics attached to the majority of songs, and these display fine.
- A copy of my Album Art folder is also synched to the iPod's Photos menu, and all files display OK in this.
- My playlists are set to auto-update from the ones in iTunes, instead of manually updating them.
- There doesn't seem to be any distinguishing features that set the art that is displaying apart from the art that isn't.
- All of the art displayed fine when I used to manually update the playlists.
I hope this helps you guys to find a solution. I poked around on the iPod help site but couldn't seem to find anyhting directly relating to this problem.
