Baxter Cat,

You can do the conversion to AAC with iTunes. See this guide:

iTunes: How to convert a song to a different file format

Baxter,

Go to your Music library, and make sure you are in Songs view. Look for the column called "Kind." (If you don't have a Kind column, enable it by going to View > View Options and checking the box for Kind.)

"Kind" will tell you which ones are Apple Lossless. If you sort by Kind, all the Apple Lossless tracks will be in a row, easy to find.

You can use the previously referenced guide to create new AAC versions of them. Afterwards, you can either keep or delete the Apple Lossless originals, depending on whether you have some use for them.
