Iphone 4S VS Ipod 4th gen, sound quality.

Ok, so this is once another apple thread about wether the iPhone 4S does or doesn't have a better sound quality than the Ipod 4G.

We all already know that the iPhone 4S beats Ipod 4G in sound quality WITHOUT earpads.

Now my question is; Which device goes louder and has better quality with earpads? iPhone or iPod? Or are they both equal?

Cause I tried comparing them and I can't hear any difference, i'm just making sure ^^

I could see the iPhone needing to be louder because of its obvious purpose - as a phone.

As far as music playback fidelity I guess that means given the same volume position on both a Touch and Phone of the same generation the Phone might be a hair louder.

When doing this comparison I would also make sure that the Volume Limit and any Equalizer preset are disabled, for the most objective comparison. Center the balance control under "Accessibility" in settings.

Make sure they are also both reasonably charged too.
