iPod touch 4th gen will not play music on new Sony docking station. It still charges and the iPod plays music with headphones fine. Have upgraded and performed a reset as well, thanks in advance for any assistance

Based on other recent posts it seems that the Sony dock may not not compatible. However:
- Reset the dock. how yo do it depends upon the dock.
- Go to Sony' support site/contact them.
According to Sony's website it should support it..... I have bought 3 of these and am very unhappy that they have stopped working after I have updated IOS on IPOD (4g) and Iphone 4S devices.

What the **** have Apple done to screw these devices up?
This docking station used to work perfectly unitl IOS 5 upgrade came along and messed things up!
The confusion is that the list of compatible iPods does not list the iOS. Sometimes an iOS update breaks compatibility.
