My ipod classic won't sync HD movies and Itunes won't let me create an ipod version

i bought all 3 HD Godfather movies and none of them will sync... I have 70 gb left on my 160GB ipod so that can't be the problem... Itunes won't let me convert the movies to an ipod compatible version... this is annoying
