Home Sharing problem

Even with the correct Apple ID and Password I cannot get my new iPad-4 to recognize Home Sharing after I had successfully enabled this feature on my PC. I am NOT setup with WiFi. My Apple iPad-4 is connected to my PC via the supplied Apple syncing/charging cable. Does anyone know what I should do ???
