Apple Event: May 7th at 7 am PT
I rented a movie 'the dictator' on iTunes through my iPad. It downloaded to my iPad and plays fine. I want to watch it on my tv using airplay and apple Tv but only the audio will come out on the tv...no picture. The airplay icon on my iPad turns blue also. Help

Apple TV also does not recognise that I have rented it so I cannot play it direct from there

Try restarting the Apple TV by removing ALL the cables for 30 seconds, or resetting it using the reset option under general. You should also try restarting your router and iPad.
