Q: I have the latest ipad with retina display. I want to purchase a case/keyboard for it.The adds say the cases are made to fit ipad 2 or 3rd generation or 4th gen.What is mine called? Any reccomendations as to what keyboard & covers work well?Many Thanks

    yours is probably an iPad 4. Does it have the lightening connector? Then it's a 4. If you have dictation on the keyboard (the little microphone) then you have a 3. If you have a camera, then you have a 2.

     

    The 3 and 4 are the same dimension wise, and they're just fractions of a milimeter thicker than the ipad 2.

     

    I have a Zagg Folio with keyboard and like it very much. Targus also makes some good cases, as well as Kensington and Logitech

     

    All a matter of how much you want to spend. I have a no name purple leather folio case that I use when i don't need the keyboard, and my folio when I do.
