I am having problems with iMovie. I'm not able to export, I've looked at several discussions about the issue. Now, Im supposed to delete this folder "com.apple.iMovieApp.plist" but I cannot find it.

That file is in ~/Library/Preferences, being ~ your user folder. To go to this folder, open Finder, select Go > Go to Folder, type ~/Library/Preferences and delete com.apple.iMovieApp.plist
I followed the steps (( "Go > Go to Folder, type ~/Library/Preferences" )) but there is not a file under that name or anything related to iMovie. Is there a reason why? could it be hidden?
You followed the wrong path (Harddrive). The correct path is - /Library/Preferences. Inside the Preferences you will find the plist file you are looking for.

I tried looking for it the way you showed me but still not able to find it...check out the screen shot.
Very strange. You seem to be missing your "Home" Library folder. I noticed that you are using Mountain Lion. The mapping must be different than Snow Leopard which is what os I use. So I am not much help to you. Sorry.
You should post in the iMovie forum area and perhaps cross post in the Mountain Lion forum area regarding your "Home" Library folder.
Where do i find "com.apple.iMovieApp.plist" in OS X 10.8.2?
