How do I show my MacBook pro on my TV?. It did it originally, but won't now.

How do you have the system connected to the TV, and what steps have you tried to get it to connect?
I have a cable, to my TV PC input from the computer Thunderport. When I connect, the TV shows the 'Mac' logo screen (without any desktop items, or the 'dock') but I can't feed any data to the TV. I used the same connection some weeks ago, to display a Power Point presentation, without any trouble. The system set up automatically. I can't understand what I am doing wrong! Thanks for your interest.
Try going to your Displays system preferences when the TV is attached, to see if you have options to either extend the desktop or mirror your Mac's output to the external monitor.
