Q: I am trying to set up an Ipod on my account for my grandson, but because I have an Apple account won't let me set multiple accounts??

I am trying to set up ITunes on my grandson's IPod, but since I have an ITunes account it won't let me have multiple accounts? Also made the mistake of loading his gift card on my computer and now can't get gift card off my account so I can put on his IPod??

Thank you.

An email address can only be associated with a single Apple ID.

There are no "family" accounts, each user has their own account.  Accounts cannot be combined/merged or split.

Create a new account using the individuals email address.

It may be possible to have iTunes customer support move the credit for the gift card from your account to the other account if you contact them and explain the situation.
