I- tunes on my laptop not recognizing ipad 2?

Itunes not picking up ipad 2?
i am running a 64 bit win 7, and when i plug in the ipad 2 and go to device manager , it gives me a yellow exclamation mark by the word apple mobile usb device...... then when i type in "services.msc" ,then go to Apple Mobile Device properties ..i install i- tunes as 64 bit and it is reading from "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\AppleMobileDeviceService.exe" the path is wrong it is not sapose to be ( Program Files (x86) ) that is the 32 bit not the 64 how to change the path .....and is that even the problem
