Apple Mobile Device Support!!!!!!

Should I uninstall the apple mobile device support as well as itunes(then reinstall itunes) on my computer to finally fix the problem of syncing my music to my new ipod touch?????????

iPod touch, iOS 6.0.2

I would start with

Removing and reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows Vista or Windows 7

or

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP
